There are mainly 3 types of New Chemical Substance Registrations in China,

Under Order 7, there are following types of NCS registration,

Record Notifiction takes around one week --- it is the time needed for Express delivery of the notification files.

Special Type Registration takes around 2 months, after the notification files are provided to Randis.

Basic Type Registration takes around 6~8 months, including the time needed for the tests in China labs.

The time needed for Typical Registration varies a lot, based on what further tests are needed.
