Following the tragic chemicals accident at Tianjin port on August 12, China Sate Council issued ‘Urgent Notice on carrying out specific gestion of dangerous chemicals and of inflammable and explosives’. The Notice is re-emphasizing some key points of safety management of hazardous chemicals, while did not unveil new rules.

For the rumor on internet saying that ‘all imported hazardous goods must be marked with Chinese and English safety label before shipment dispatch, or shall be marked at China port, otherwise will be detained by Customs’ were also denied by Shanghai Customs through its Wechat platform on August 20.
