Taiwan released new GHS SDS and safety label rules on June 27, 2014 --- ‘Rules on Hazardous Chemicals Labels and SDS’, replace the previous one issued in 2007.One obvious difference is on the ingredients’ security protection.

On Nov. 9 of 2018, amendment to the rule was issued. The 2 amendments are: CAS No. of hazardous components of mixture product is part of chemical information to disclose;  chemical identification (name, CAS No.) of chemicals listed in 'Standards of Permissible Exposure Limits at Job Site' are not allowed to be hidden.
