China Food and Drug Administration has issued ‘Catalogue of Already-used Cosmetic Raw Materials’ (hereinafter called Catalogue ) recently. This Catalogue covered 8783 kinds of raw materials used in China totally, which included 8 kinds of the plant origin and 2 kinds of unclear source from plant or animal raw materials. 

·     What you need note here is sunscreen agents, preservatives, coloring agents, hair coloring agent and restricted substances etc. that are listed in 'Hygienic standard for cosmetics' (2007 Edition) but not in this Catalogue, they can be considered as already used cosmetic raw materials, which should be in accordance with 'Hygienic standard for cosmetics' (2007 Edition) when used.

The Catagloue does not provide English name for some materials. Randis supplemented the English names. These are marked in Yellow.
